Institute
Institute for Integrated Management
The institute develops the St. Gallen Integrated Management Concept. It researches how companies shape their business while creating the conditions to manage it effectively: how do their customer promise and value creation align with strategy, organisation, decisions and culture? Where do tensions arise between these areas, and how can they be resolved?
A current focus is Agentonomics. This approach examines how people and intelligent agents can perform management tasks together. The institute researches how to make management knowledge accessible, allocate tasks and decision rights, and align everyone's contributions with shared goals. In this way, it develops the St. Gallen Concept for companies in which AI becomes part of everyday leadership and management.
